Whats your opinion on breastfeeding & smoking weed ?

its saibthat you should stop smoking weed around the halfway mark of pregnancy to prevent the vtrastmilk from drying up prematurely. so smoking while breastfeeding can make your breast milk dry faster. and like they said you can transfer the THC thru the fatty tissues.

Nope, thc does transfer in breastmilk and its stored in fatty tissues so it can build up in the baby. It's just a few months, why risk it?

I believe and have been told by a medical personnel that if u wanna smoke to breast feed the baby and then sheet baby is done eating off you then if you can pump enough for the next feeding and then smoke by the time it's time for baby to eat off of you it is out of your milk. my sister had also smoked weed and she does it after her kid it perfectly healthy. it's ur personal preference really. add long as you change your clothes after u smoke and wash and disinfect your hands really well before handling baby also I don't see a problem with it

You shouldn't expose your baby to any kinda smoke. Let alone breastfeed while smoking. Also don't co sleep if your or your SO smokes anything. The smell sticks to everything weather you smell it or not and will increase the risk of SIDS and if anything is smoked in the home that can increase your risk of SIDS because the smell can stick to the baby items which increases your risk.

I don't agree with smoking weed at all, let alone exposing it to a baby. just my opinion.
