Can Someone Tell Me How The Epidural Works? lol
I'm Kinda A Weenie When It Comes To Needles.
Not So Scared About Giving Birth But More Scared Of The Epidural Haha
Girl it's nothing. You psych yourself out hearing horror stories about the needle but you don't even feel it. The numbing needle burns a little but that's it.
it does not hurt what's bad is trying not to move when ur having super pain contractions while getting epidural but I'm pretty sure if u get it when contractions are tolerable then it should be fine.
I was crying during contractions and I cried a lot more when they were talking about the epidural because I was scared of the numbing shot hurting really bad. It felt like a pinch and then I didn't feel anything except when the medicine started. I had a "hot spot" which is just where the baby has their head blocking the nerves so I felt the contractions on one side until they put more medicine in the iv. After that, it was great I didn't feel anything. If you want the epidural deff get it. If you have questions ask the doctor, they explain everything before they do it and then the guy who did mine went step by step as he was doing it. The "worse" part is having to sit still and not move during contractions. @areneeb
the epurdial wasnt nothing I didn't feel the numbing needle or the epurdial they do it in between contractions so you are hurting from them and don't notice them doing the epurdial
i honestly didn't even look add mind the needle or cafe to think about it or look at it lol my contraction me were so bad and I was in sooo much pain. i just wanted some sort of relief. shop maybe by the time you get it or if you do then you will just want relief and won't think too much of it.
