labor story- I went into the hospital on a Thursday for bleeding (I had already had 3-4 bleeding incidents throughout my pregnancy) finally after numerous trips to the hospital they gave me an ultrasound so see what was going on. the ultrasound revealed I had WAY too much amnoitic fluid and a very minor placental abruption. they told me I would be staying at the hospital for a couple days until I was induced at 37 weeks. so I waited for days in the hospital it was so boring. finally they started my induction with cervidil (not sure how u spell it) and after 12 hours of having that in they put a pill in. the pill was giving me cntrsctions every minute or two. after the pill wore off since my contractions didn't stop they let me continue laboring by myself. I was only 1cm and 50% effaced. after about 20 or so hours of labor no progress was made. they put the ball on in my cervix which was uncomfortable but I was willing to do what it took to make progress. after having the balloon in for like 10 hours I was only 2cm and they took balloon out and started pitocin. I got the epidural which didn't work at all and though I was having frequent contractions I wasn't making progress. the doctor came in and said if I didn't make progress in 2 hours I had to have a c section. 2 hours later no progress but they decided to let me go a little longer. the cntrsctions got so intense I start begging for a csection but doctors were being stubborn. they checked me I was 4cm. things moved quickly from there I went from 4 to 6 to 8 within a few hours. the contractions were so painful I was sobbing loudly I didn't even care how loud I was lol. the doctor said when u feel like u need to poop get a doctor. I was so exhausted I was in and out of sleep in between contractions all the sudden I woke up and started yelling at my boyfriend to get the doctor. after 3 hours of pushing my beautiful baby arrived and I couldn't be happier. the placenta did hurt to me some people say it doesn't but mine did and they pub on ur stomach so much to get the extra blood and stuff out and that hurt a lot too. I didn't need any stitches so my recovery has been so easy. it doesn't burn when I pee I've had no problems pooping I actually had a really amazinblabor despite the pain I'm so glad the doctors didn't give in and give me a csection. god really watched over me! I'm loving mother hood so much sorry I don't post much pictures but with all the fakes and creeps its not something I really feel comfortable with. baby tré was born march 11 6lb 11oz
