I don't know whats going on with little Ryder tonight but I am beyond miserable. Earlier today I was standing by the door looking outside when I got a sharp pain in my lower back (left side) and what felt like I was leaking (maybe the size of a quarter) but it was not urine. Then came a lot of pressure round my pelvic area and contractions that were close then far apart, then they just stopped but i still had a little pressure. Ryder was moving around a good bit and i had this jittery feeling. And about an hour ago I was trying to crochet and then the contractions started again and still was everywhere in terms of how far apart. Any idea ladies? I am calling my obgyn in the morning to let her know what was going on just in case she wants me to come in earlier that Tuesday. I live around an hour from the hospital so I absolutely didn't want to make a trip if I didn't have to and since the contractions was happening on and off at odd times I wanted to wait. I just didn't know what to do exactly because i didnt have pains like this or Braxton-Hicks(not saying for sure what these contractions are) contractions with my other pregnancies so this was kinda new for me. Advice and thoughts are welcome!

@mom2311s, thanks love, it’s really easy once you get the hang of it. July will be my 5 year crochet anniversary.
It's up to you at this point. Not all labors are black and white. Not all contractions completely "regulate" either. I would definitely go in tomorrow morning though if not sooner. ❤
@mom2311s, I’m pretty sure he has hiccups.😂 poor feller.
@smoore1103 awww! Yes mine had hiccups like crazy and he came out hiccuping like crazy lol!
@mom2311s, awe!! This is random but I crocheted my first starfish, what do you think???🤔
And what makes this worse is I feel like I have to pee every 5 minutes.🤦🏻♀️
@mom2311s, @noahleesmamma, I called the hospital and asked to be put through to labor and delivery and they put me through to the nurse on call. She told me “take two extra strength Tylenol, drink water, get off your feet and time your contractions. The pressure your feeling is normal unfortunately and there’s nothing that can be done about the pressure. If after you’ve taken the Tylenol and your contractions are still back to back go to the hospital but if they aren’t it’s just false contractions.” And then that was it she had nothing more to say and just kept repeating herself.
@mom2311s, she said if they are back to back for an hour to go to the hospital and you time them from the start of one contraction to the start of the second. If they aren’t consistent or stop for 30-40 minutes to an hour then they are just Braxton-Hicks. -her exact words.
@mom2311s, almost an hour since I called.
I'd go to hospital. Something like that happened to me. I had little leaks coming out that wasnt urine but because it wasnt the "big gush" everyone was saying I didnt bother because also my contractions weren't getting consistant. Finally after 3 days of this I finally went to hospital and they almost sent me home but when they checked me one last time they said I felt "wet" so they did swab test. Turned out my water was leaking. So they admitted me and gave pitocin to speed things along being who knew how long since water had broke and my body was just going through complications of why I wasnt getting consistant and my contractions weren't dialated. And it's crazy because my doctor looked over this. I had been in her office the day before I decided to go to hospital. And she told me it was braxton hicks. Smh.
I called but the nurse on call didn’t seem to care really. I’ve never used that doctor so I don’t know her personally but if I’m still going through this in the morning I’m calling my actual doctor who has been my obgyn for my last two pregnancies and telling her what’s going on. I go for a cervix exam, growth ultrasound and check up Tuesday (the day before I become 36 weeks). My obgyn has been keeping a close watch on this pregnancy and doing extra sugar tests, blood panels, and starting my cervix exam early because of complications with the last pregnancy. I’d feel safer talking to her than a dr I don’t know.
I would call after hours and have them page the doctor on call. Or you can call l&d directly and speak with them. Any leaking should be tested. I went in because my fluid was like water but it turned out to be really watery discharge which happens more in second and more pregnancies.
@smoore1103 yes I had a bit of white as well. The pain you've been feeling with that fluid though may be the start of early labor though. It can't hurt to give I&d a call.
@mom2311s I am fixing to call them just in case.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
