Don't let her manipulate you or your plans as a Mother. Breastfeed until your heart desires. Be sturdy with your plans. She sounds like a negative Nancy. Don't let her sabotage what you want by giving your baby formula.

just because it hurt her doesn't mean it will you. her son was most likely latching wrong. they should help show you in the hospital

Longs you feed your baby that all it matters don't let anyone tell you how to take care of your baby. If you want to breastfeed go head don't let anyone stop you.

am still doing it and am not letting go of my strings they are tied tight she is very negative she tried controlling me with my first one and she didn't go very far with it all of this is pissing me off I know after this one is born she is going to become very controlling and I will flip.

I always tell her am the mother Ur not and she goes am the grandma that means ma she just pisses me off.

I got the nipple shield and creme in the beginning until I was able to breastfeed without it

Don't let her talk you out of it!! I'm not going to lie to you, it hurts like hell the first week but after you both get it down it's the most amazing experience to share with your child. I've been exclusively breast feeding for 3 weeks and it's been hard but very rewarding!! Do what your heart desires honey!
