So, I was watching the news today and they said that doing "keepsake ultrasounds" like 3D and 4D ultrasounds are dangerous to be doing outside of a doctors office. And, they're reasoning is that it could make heat bubbles on the unborn baby's skin for taking too long of a scan! Now, watching it over again, thinking about it, and talking about it, it doesn't make any sense to me. Because, ultrasounds use sounds waves that bounce off of the solids in our bodies like bones and hard tissues! Now how exactly would have ever get hot or heat up a baby's skin? What are you opinions mama's? I am getting a 4D ultrasound tomorrow as well and every baby I have known has never had this issue.
