Ladiess!! Okay so Tuesday I have my first weekly check up but they said for now on they're going to do a non stress test? I have no idea what to expect? What do they do? help! 😩
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

When I did my non stress test they basically just listen to her heart beat on a monitor for like 20-30 mins

Is there a reason why they do it? I have to do it every Tuesday at 8am until baby comes @kennedymom

uhmm just to keep a close eye on he baby. I was high risk so that's why I had to do it

My weight gain is fine which is surprising since I had high fluid.. It's gone down but I guess thy just wanna monitor it to make sure it stays like that @jrsmommy0310

Aww ok then yea it's most definitely to keep a close eye on the baby. It's not that bad my bf and I got tried of going to the Dr twice a week tho lol

I have to get the non stress tests twice a week because I'm high risk. they hook you up to listen to their heart rate and make sure that it will go up when the baby moves and has to stay elevated for a few seconds. this is to make sure everything with baby is good. I have had several so far and my baby was being stubborn twice including today lol she didn't want to move very much so I had to have an ultrasound done to check on her and then she started moving a lot and they said she was perfect. so if you have to get an ultrasound don't worry as baby could be sleepy like mine always is lol.

if nothing else it gives me peace of mind every time I go in to listen to her heartbeat

they put two little belts with monitors on your belly that checks babys heart rate and movement and contractions if your having any. they may have you drink some juice if the babys not being very active but its nothing major aslong as everything is going good.
