Wow, seriously! Four more days until my due date, I can't believe how fast it went by! My next appt is until Friday but…

I have my next appointment tomorrow I'm think about asking for a membrane sweep too

What's a membrane sweep

@january10th Yess girl because its just painful! I got up this morning at like 5am to the bathroom and the weight of the baby pulled me back down 3 times, felt like he was literally going to tear through, lol! 40 weeks is loong enough, I don't wanna go almost 42 like before. Its a few more days but PAINFUL days!

@mmmirage Um, it's where they sweep their finger to separate the amniotic sac from the cervix to release prostaglandins or however you spell that and it helps start the contractions! :)

@alicia91 omg I'm still learning new things lol thanks! Do we all have to get that done?

@mmmirage I don't think you do. Well with my first baby, my doctor did it without even asking me at 41 weeks, a week before my scheduled induction and I didn't ask for it lol I didn't know what it was either! And it worked because 2 days later I started getting contractions! This time they haven't offered or told me about it but I just don't want to wait until 41 weeks, maybe they can do it this week since it's close to my due date! :D

@kaymariah Not anything that has helped, I lost my mucus plug, I'm 3 centimeters, I get BH everyday and last night I was getting some good ones 3-4 mins apart so I got up and went to take a shower before going and then they went away! :(

I've never been over due so idk what that feels like but by the looks of this one he just wants to play games with my head. & the pain is getting TOOO real! I'm ready to be done. I NEED him out, especially having to do all this crap ALONE again so no ma'am I will not be over due by no means.

@babyboolala Lol yes but I don't wanna go over 2 weeks like before and end up being induced with pitocin anyway. I got the membrane sweep then I got contractions but they weren't strong enough to make me dilate so I was put on pitocin :( I wish so badly that my water breaks so it can be naturally the whole way but who knows if I'll get my wish! I wanna be walking around walmart and feel that gush!! I been praying for it, lol!

@january10th Its very painful, I feel so guilty complaining because he's my little baby but it's just hurting, lol! On my last ultrasound they said he was measuring 2 weeks ahead and if he's like my son, I'll probably be tearing again because of their big heads like their dad haha

lol girl my last baby tore me & he was smaller than the first one -_- he was only 6 lbs & my first was almost 8lbs you tell me how I didn't tear with my first. I hope I don't tear again it sucks having stitches

@january10th It does!!! That first time you pee, omg felt like I was pissing limon!!!

peeing & pooping after a baby are the very worst I used to cry when I got that feeling that I had to poop I would hold it for days :( & stool softeners don't work

Oh wow ok! Ill let Mother Nature play its role at first and hope i Pop before 40 weeks lol

@january10th Girl I did just the same!! I would hold it in and have a horrible stomach ache but I preferred that then going! It was so painful, I had a 3rd degree tear and man I would cry everytime I had to use the bathroom

@mmmirage Yes it's better to try and see if you go into labor on your own. I really want my water to break itself and I'm hoping maybe this membrane sweep works, lol. With my first I never got past 1cm dilated and barely 50% effaced and this time I'm already 3cm and 80% effaced so maybe it makes a difference! :D

my tear wasn't that but but it still freaking hurt that good for that numbing spray they give you or I wouldve died lol

@january10th Omg numbing spray?? I never got any of that! All I got was a little squirter bottle and I would fill it up with cold water before peeing and would squirt while I peed so it didn't hurt as bad! Wow, those dumbasses never gave me that! :(

That's a good thing!! Keeping my fingers crossed n hoping I dilate or membrane swap!! Sounds better than pictocin

Yea my hospital gave me the squirt bottle too I used warm water then after I would use the numbing spray & these cold compress pad things they gave me too omg it was heaven

It's not natural if you're doing things to induce yourself! Duh LOL If you two would stop putting so much behind it it will happen you're torturing ourselves for no reason! Relax, enjoy, it'll happen ! You're getting this from a mom on her seventh child trust me if I can wait patiently anyone can! @january10th They never gave me none of that!!! I'm so glad I have a different doctor and different hospital this time! They just let me suffer :(
