so this girl at my work who is 17 and 24 weeks pregnant smokes weed, and Another girl who I work with keeps smoking it…

I know, I'm sorry. I've been having a rough night, clearly not thinking and im half asleep so I'm skimming through stuff. But you're absolutely correct. Smoking weed while pregnant... You're asking to get your baby to get taken away from you, I actually know someone who that has happened to.. & it's not worth it! Getting high isn't worth not having your child... You're a good person for mentioning that to her, seriously.. Some people wouldn't even care enough to say something. Oh well, she'll find out the hard way and be sorry in the end.

yeah I get you. my cousin had her baby recently and the baby died 5 hours later for having bad lungs. I'm not sure if she smoked while pregnant, I doubt it but it might've been just by second hand smoke. either way, I'm nowhere near it because I don't want my baby taken from me or something worse

yeah I mean I have read many things that weed will not harm your baby, but then I have read things that it will. its your choice if you smoke. as for drinking and partying I find that very wrong, I just don't want her baby to be taken from her @mrscalderon

It makes sense for you to say that I quit smoking weed when I found out at 6 weeks and ended up starting again because my friend who I hung out with everyday ALWAYS smoked around me took me with her to friends house so she could smoke and I could sit there and she wouldn't watch where she was blowing the smoke and it almost always went in my face I quit again and am finding it much easier now that I really don't see her.

I see a lot of girls on my Facebook that are supposedly pregnant but yet they go out to party, smoke, & drink. I'm 17, used to smoke & drink but once I got pregnant I stopped ALL of that for my daughter. I can't imagine her being taken away from me & if anything were to happen to her because of me, I would never forgive myself. people like her, don't deserve to have a baby. there's lots of girls who would love to get pregnant but can't yet she's smoking and trying to fight. sad

this whole post was just how shitty she got at me while for caring that they could take her baby. if she wants to smoke during pregnancy I do not care who does it. but at least stop sometime soon cause they will take your baby. she's my friend and I would hate for that to happen. but she jumped my ass. this post is just about that, not particularly smoking while pregnant. @mamabear2023 @kateferrera

before posting something like that, you should have looked closer cause I said smoking WEED. haha it's okay though it doesn't make you a bad mother. you are correct your baby can be harmed by stopping cold turkey in cigs so it is better to just cut back. I also don't think you are the devil if you smoke weed while pregnant, its a choice but they will take your baby. @kateferrera

This topic always causes arguments. Just like you wouldn't drink while pregnant you shouldn't smoke. But like I said, it's better to not say anything at all and let women make tier own decisions and if you're lucky enough to get away with it then good for you. And they do drug test your new born after birth. No one mentioned cigarettes by the way, smoking weed is the issue.

How can they take your baby away for smoking while pregnant?! I smoke cigarettes if that's what you're talking about.. & my doctor never says anything about it, ever.. I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 6 months & I was advised to just cut back, not quit because I could cause premature labor for quitting.. & by all means I would rather smoke while pregnant and go to term then quit and risk my child's life even more... It's a personal choice & "some people weren't meant to be mothers" is a wrong choice of words... You're not their doctor and you have no idea what plan she could have with her doctor.. That's really rude... I'm not trying to be a bitch or anything but that really hurts me that you would say something like that.. By all means we all have our own opinions yes but sometimes things are better left unsaid.. I wouldn't ever do anything that would potentially harm my child!!! Which is why my doctor & I discussed it and came to that decision.. Those kind of girls are the reason why people look down on young moms. I had my son at 19 also but I was already on my own. I moved out at 18 and was taking care of myself and I still got looked at as irresponsible. I've learned that it's not worth saying anything. She will learn on her from the huge mistakes she's making.

if you wanna smoke while pregnant go for it, I smoked to, but stopped because they will take your baby away. in this post I said nothing about the whole smoking while pregnant, clearly it's their choice. but they will take your baby. that's the point here. @18andpregnant

a lot of woman smoke weed during pregnancy. I smoked before pregnancy and know a lot of woman who smoked and smoke while pregnant. I think its there choice.

your not the bad guy, it's just every woman isn't fit to be a mother. it's common sense not to do anything that can possibly harm your baby.
