Had all 4 babies natural with no pain meds and Plan to go the same with her natural no pain meds

My sister in-law is 13 weeks pregnant but they can not find a heart beat for the baby. She has no sign of a miscarriage, not even cramps. The Dr. Is pushing her to take some meds to help her pass the baby. This was her 1st ultrasound even. She is 38 hoping for her 1st baby. I'm telling her to wait and don't take anything. What do u guys think ?
