Today my boyfriends manager lost his baby.. They were about 4 or 5 months along, and he was there when he got the call to say goodbye... We both feel horrible especially since were almost about to have our daughter, but also because we miscarried before her, I can only imagine how they felt since we weren't very far along, but it still kills us.. I feel guilty for asking him to talk to him about taking off for our breastfeeding class (which he probably forgot to schedule him off for) and if I go into labor while hes at work I'm gonna feel guilty.. Has anyone had situation like this and felt hurt or guilty for the other person? Please keep them in your thoughts, prayers, or whatever you may believe in, they need it.

I'm so sorry to hear about both miscarriages. 😢 when I was about 6 months along a long distance friend of mine had a miscarriage, she's actually had about 4 total. And I hated mentioning pregnancy stuff and even now I don't really like mentioning my son because I'm not sure how she REALLY feels. She was never very far along but I still couldn't imagine the heartache.

Yeah, thank you. It's hard, and it hurts more than anything I've ever felt, but I understand what you're saying I do too, I kinda don't want our daughter to meet his coworkers when he's there, I don't want to be "waving" her in his face, I don't want to show him what he's not having and lost, it wasn't their fault and it's not fair to them..

But you also can't be blaming yourself just because you will have your little girl, it's no ones fault that their little one was lost. But I do understand the guilt.

I promise you, after having 2 miscarriages myself, we do not get mad or upset at people for being proud of their new baby. It's hard but it's something we have to face to grow stronger...never be ashamed of your miracle!

@cynthialeann we also had a miscarriage, I didn't know if bring that up could help or hurt either. I just don't them to feel like failures or feel guilty, it took awhile for me to see it wasn't my fault and there's nothing that could of been done, I don't want them to feel alone or any worse than they already do.
