I wish there was speed dating for mom friends. I want mom friends. I want a flossy posse. I want someone to dye my hair. I want to practice my make up skills. I want play dates. I want someone to call and say hey lets grab lunch, coffee or lets just have a girls night and get white girl wasted like bad moms. Even if we only have time to do it once a year. It’s been sooooooooooo long. Going on two years that I’ve been consistently around a friend.

Okay so I really need mom friends. I haven’t had friend time in almost two years. I’m an introvert and stand offish (even though I don’t mean to be) so it’s very difficult to meet friends for me. I moved from Colorado to Arizona early last year where I have no friends or family, and just moved to Wisconsin where I still know no one. I have a 20 month old and a ten year old step son. What do you stay at home moms do for extra money? I love staying home with my baby but it is a financial struggle. This is the first time in my life since I was 15, that I'm not earning any income.
