Ladies did you actually wait the recommended 6 weeks after birth to have sex again? I had a c section so I feel great now. But it's only been 3 weeks. Should I wait the whole 6 weeks or would it be ok if I didn't wait?

I can't believe my baby is already a week old. It feels like I just got out of the hospital. I hope he doesn't grow up too fast !
