Ladies did you actually wait the recommended 6 weeks after birth to have sex again? I had a c section so I feel great now. But it's only been 3 weeks. Should I wait the whole 6 weeks or would it be ok if I didn't wait?

Wait until your doctor clears you at your 6 weeks post partum check up. Just came back from mine today. Having sex before then can be harmful to you if you're not fully healed.
I never waited, we had sex around 3 weeks after. I had a small tear but it was fine
Your suppose to wait because your cervix is still open and it could cause infection. That being said I had a vaginal birth and only waited 4 or 5 weeks lol I would say just make sure it doesn't hurt you, don't let him get off inside you and make sure his penis is clean! Lol
My doctor told me 6 weeks too but I couldn't wait. I did it after about 3 weeks and just went real easy.
