Hate to break it but motrin nor ibuprofen isnt going to help they should of gave you a pain killer they will make u tired which means you will need help, my husband took off about a week when my son was born once he turned to work my friend and my mom came over to help. How many days/weeks has it been since birth?

@deannapooley, they are giving me Motrin and ibuprofen. I would have been up the day of my c-section but I couldn't because I was on a magnesium drip for my possible preeclampsia. When I got off of that I walked around all day yesterday. But today I feel like my pain is worse and it hurts more to stand. I more just wanna get better so I can go home.

my first c section was hard but my second was easy after the first day I got up I walk I was good wish you luck on recovery tho

I guess everyone is different. I was up and doing things the day after. they dropped my pain meds because they made me doze off while trying to feed my son.but if you're having a hard time right now, rest. as much as you can. everyone will have to help you

@k.gabriel123, probably about a week or less if u walk alot i walked the day of my c section lol and i did really good with the recovery did they give u any pain medication

it's gonna be hard for awhile, I would say 2 weeks and I could get up with no issues I had to get up like they told me in the hospital
