So after being in the hospital since Monday. I’m finally home. From have non stop contractions Thursday morning until 7p Thursday night, finally got them to stop. They couldn’t find any infections in my blood, urine, or amniotic fluid. After all the contractions, I’m really open && only thing holding the baby in is the cerclage. So I pray that God allows me to make it to the 30s at least. I just want my baby boy healthy && viable.

Any advice on how to stop cramping so bad with a cerclage? I had it in for about two weeks now. I’ve taken all the medicines && done exactly what mfm has asked of me. I’m on 2 wks bed rest && drinking lots of fluid. I get up to shower && use the bathroom. Last two days has been very painful. I’m cramping non stop. Went to get checked to make sure it’s not contractions. So they’re saying I’m fine, the cervix && cerclage looks good, baby movements && heat beats are great, but not answers to why my...

Anyone with a cerclage? I had mine put in on the 27th... just wondering what others experienced with recovery.

PA residents, I have a question. I recently moved to a new place here in PA. Was at my old place for 3 yrs never had any issues with my rent, my landlord, or neighbors. Having to go onto the monitor for contractions && get some kinda vaginal pill to be inserted every night until Wednesday. Was told I have a short cervix && it’s starting to open. Which they are saying could send me into preterm labor, which would be too early to deliver. Having to get another ultrasound Wednesday. Any one have any experience with their cervix opening earlier than 20 wks?
