Any advice on how to stop cramping so bad with a cerclage? I had it in for about two weeks now. I’ve taken all the medicines && done exactly what mfm has asked of me. I’m on 2 wks bed rest && drinking lots of fluid. I get up to shower && use the bathroom. Last two days has been very painful. I’m cramping non stop. Went to get checked to make sure it’s not contractions. So they’re saying I’m fine, the cervix && cerclage looks good, baby movements && heat beats are great, but not answers to why my stomach is cramping like every 30 seconds.
Any advice mommies?!

That’s what I’m thinking. Because I don’t know what else it could be. Maybe my cervix is just irritated && cramping because of his movements. It just hurts really bad && I don’t know what else it could be.
@zoeysmom28 no one warned me how much you could feel it after. So irritating. Well worth it, kept my kiddo baking to 37.6 weeks. Hang in there.

Okay I’ll be real and explained why I joined, I didn’t know I could be looked up or anyone would actually see this post, I was informed someone I know has been stealing pics and I came to look and see what’s going on if any of mine were on there or anyone else I knew. I just typed until it let me post since it was required before I could look around on the app.
So I smoked weed regularly before I got preg & now it's very hard for me to stop. I do not want social services getting involved. I don't smoke as often as before, but I haven't stopped cold turkey because of my nausea. 😢 any advice?

Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
You could just be irritated because of the stitch. I think it took a full month before I couldn't feel mine, and then sometimes I could get irritated when he moved just right. He was particularly fond of punching my cervix so that was fun. My MFM used to laugh watching him do it on the ultrasound.
