I'm so grateful for this app! I can vent/rant about things that other moms may or may not relate to, and there's no judgment. Well, not really. But we all learn new things from each other and support each other!

This is going to be a rant/vent.. So sorry in advance mommas! I hope I'm making sense with this post😣

It's been a bit over a month since my daughter was born. The plan was to breastfeed, but of course, other things happened: I got an allergic reaction to the steri strips and was put on antibiotics; I then developed seroma above my c-section incision a week later, and ended up in the E.R. with 103.5° temperature; My OB came down to the E.R. and drained it from cutting a small part open (it was s...

I hate that my son rebels out on me, bc my full attention isn't with just him anymore. I tried so hard to be interested in his sister when I was pregnant. All I've ever gotten was him sleeping next to my stomach. But he takes no interest in her, and won't really come near me if I'm holding her. Or if he does, he'll try to push her out the way. I mean, he's only a year old and there's not much punishment for him to get. It's just so stressful for me. 😧

So broke out with hives from being allergic to one of my meds. Stopped that immediately and now I'm just waiting for them to go away. It's slowly disappearing but it still itches. No matter how hard I try NOT to scratch, I give in. And to me, it looks like they're turning into bruises. So I have a bunch of bruises all over my legs, and two on my arms. Like whyyyy😭 Benadryl is not helping as well.

Both of my c-sections was never part of my plan on bringing my babies into this world. BUT having them being safe and healthy is all that matters to me. I do feel guilty about it time to time, bc I've never gotten the chance to have a normal birthing experience, but it doesn't make me less of a mother regardless on how they were born. I'm just happy they're here and they make my life so much better with just one look💕

This time around, recovery is difficult. I mean, I know what to do and how to do things since I've had a c-section with my son, but man, this is hard. I had an allergic reaction to the tape they used, so I was prescribed antibiotics for it. And then I ended up getting seroma and it hurt sooo bad! Went to the e.r. for it bc I developed a high fever and thank goodness my ob came down and drained it, bc recovery was just not going well for me. I'm in love all over again😍

My daughter been sleepy since birth, so getting her to latch on and eat has been rather difficult. But my milk hasn't came in just yet, so I've been pumping every 3hrs to get things started. The most I've gotten was 4mL, then the next two times were a few drops. I'm not going to give up this time. I'm going to breastfeed, even if that means to pump and bottle feed her, I will.
