Proud mom of a NICU Preemie💜

Literally in tears watching 15-20 people run into the room across the hall. He was born at 26 weeks a month ago and struggles everyday to survive. I pray for that little boy everyday.
It also reminds me to be grateful for how healthy River actually is. How blessed we are that my only complaint is he won't eat or throws up..today, I am grateful for the health of my son... 😥

my son is two weeks old today 😭 we've been in the NICU for two weeks and hopefully his feeding tube will come out so we can go home soon now that he's eating better.

Has anyone or is anyone a NICU mom? I have a couple questions and concerns!..

I'm so overwhelmed. My son is in NICU because he was 6 weeks early and don't get me wrong I'm so grateful he is okay but this shit is so hard. I'm the only one who can stay in the hospital with him because his father had to go back to work. All my emotions are everywhere because I just want my baby to get better so he can come home.

I didn't think it would be this heart breaking having a NICU baby...I just want to be able to hold him without tubes and wires attached.
and right now I cant even pick him up because he's under a light for jaundice :'(
