Baby boy, Gabriel Xavier born today.

I love my family, but my own mother is driving me crazy. I'm 31, married, have an 8 yr old and due in 2 days. She has become so overbearing! Telling me what I will be doing versus just letting me call her when the baby comes. I'm exhausted and can't fake it. Sorry to complain, but grrrr, high risk and I'm frustrated. My bp is high, I'm attempting a VBAC and all she can talk about is the scheduled c-section. *Rant over*

So I am 37 wks and I would like to know how you induced labor naturally. What worked and didn't work for you? I'm attempting a VBAC and really trying to avoid a repeat c-section. (They want to schedule a c-section after my due date of Dec 10th) Any natural/holistic method to get the cervix to dilate? He's head down, I've had some mild contractions here and there and braxton hicks. (TMI) This morning I wiped and there was mucus, but it was not tinged with blood or anything. 32 weeks today. Dr. appt went well, cleared for a VBAC. Yay. 😄

So I'm 31 weeks today. Had an ultrasound and they are estimating the baby to be 4.3 lbs already. So he's larger than average and breech, but guessing there is time to flip head first. Go back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound because of my bp. But they say he looks normal and developing fine.

Feeling relieved after 3 days of stress. I switched doctors and hospitals yesterday. Feeling proud that I listened to my own tuition to not settle for a repeat c-section. That I found a doctor that accepts my insurance willing to do a VBAC. It's crazy when you're limited to geographical location but this new Dr and hospital will be worth the drive.

Had a complete meltdown crying fit yesterday. The thought of a repeat c-section scares me and I don't want to go through with it if I don't have too. Anyone have a successful VBAC? Any tips to talk to your doctor?
A little background, unscheduled c-section 8 yrs ago for my daughter. Son due Dec 11th. Horizontal incision... healed well/no complications. This is my 2nd pregnancy.

I am craving kettle corn. And not the microwavable kind, the genuine kettle corn you get at fairs. THE GOOD STUFF! Now where in the world can I purchase some?
