VENTING: Ok, so I started working at a hotel about a month ago. We get paid biweekly. Today is payday, but guess what! Much like LAST PAY DAY, its almost 6pm on a Friday and I still haven't been paid. Even though the boss hand writes his checks and lives literally right across the hallway!! I even texted his fiance to see if checks were ready before the bank closed and she didn't even respond. That was an hour ago. I literally work every morning 5am every day of the week. I'd at least like to get paid the day I'm told is pay day before the bank close! Worst part is that they know my husband and I live paycheck to paycheck and I still hear nothing? I'm the kind of person that will COMPLETELY understand if you tell me that you need an extra day, but when I know for a fact that someone paid you 1500 IN CASH just a few days ago (2 nights ago) and I have no food at 38+6 and you have my money, it bothers me... I love this job. It's so easy and relaxing and I love the people I work with, but I really feel screwed over on pay day! The same thing happened last pay day and I didn't get paid until damn near 10pm when they came home and heard me getting yelled at because I have respect and wasn't going to go yell at my boss for not paying me... They paid me in cash because it started problems... My husband is always so angry and yeah it bothers me to, but I'm a little more patient... Idk what to do... Yeah, its an extra $400 in our pockets every other week, but is it really worth it if it causes problems at home?? :/
So someone contacted me waiting me to watch her son four days a week for $150/wk. I had to tell her that even if someone worked for $10/hr it only pays for a day and a half in my opinion?
I mean maybe I’d do it for $300? But the $150 I just can’t see if being worth it to me
What's something you're working on right now to become a better person? I'm working on being more positive 😘🙌🏾 getting up earlier ready to start the day! I'm also working on not getting upset at small things! It's not even worth it! I'm working on smiling more and appreciating every single day! You should always be growing and working on something! If not then it's just a waste! Happy Friday 💋🦋🎈
I have a rant and this is just my opinion but I bet most of you mommies will agree.
If you can go get your nails done and pay 50 to 60 dollars then you can pay for your child’s milk and all that. I understand needing help with baby stuff but food I mean come on it’s not that much.
I know I don’t know your guys lifestyle but it pisses me off when girls get on wic and then go spend so much on themselves.
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
