Kenan Thompson’s production acquires remake rights to Sleepaway Camp. I think it should NOT be remade. They can’t make it even close to the original trilogy. They about to water it down which would strip away its impact. A modern remake would likely polish everything, losing that charm. Why must they ruin everything 😒

For fock sake. No no remake. It is getting harder to find really wellmade horror these days. With great story. You have to find smaller productions. This bullsheet Blumehouse and James Wan diluted horror is getting tiresome.

But yeah, they need to quit with the remakes. Though it is kind of surprising they havent screwed that one up yet. I hate 99.99999% of horror remakes.
Even though The Blob (88), The fly and The Thing (81) are all remakes. They were well done and received. The 80s were doing something right.
@icebergahead, I love the Fly remake! It’s a lot better than the original. The original was kind of boring.
