@raisingblueyedbabiesx2 of course, his family mourning him is natural. I just don't think everyone should be expected to feel bad about what happened. I also don't think people should celebrate, but I can understand a wave of relief flooding people.

I've seen videos of someone on a roof running right after he was shot.

He could have been shot by anyone, for any reason. That man seemed AWFUL. He was one of the people that either contributed to the state of the US now, or he supported it... heavily, unabashedly. My gosh, I'm just trying to have empathy for a life lost, and I... man, it's taking a lot of effort. I'm not even political. I'm just a person who would be so greatly affected by the America he seemed to have envisioned. There would be no safe place for me in his America.

But, he was so, so young, and I think that is sad.

He said that gun deaths in a society whose citizens owned guns was an "unfortunate reality." He thought that some people must die by the gun so that others can continue to have guns. OK, so guess what? He died. I just wonder if he'd think it was worth it... oh wait, "he has 2 young children who will grow up without a father..." I guess that's just an unfortunate reality.

Pssh, news worth covering is buried. I'm completely grief stricken by what those children in Colorado had to face. No one died except the person with the gun, but can you imagine how scared all those innocent people were?

He stood up for what he thought was right and that's more then I can say about most of Americans.

If me you or Fred next door agrees or disagrees don't mean shit. He had a family and 2 small kids one that probably won't even remember him.

The fact people thing it's okay to kill someone bcuz there thought train is different is mild blowing to me.

Was he right or wrong idk but I do know he wasn't wrong or right enough to die. Along with so many others this has happened to.

He said children should watch public executions, the absolute irony. He said if a few children have to die every year to make it so gun laws don't change, that's fine. He said empathy was damaging to our society. He said any woman or girl that was raped and got pregnant, must be made to carry their rapist's child to term. He said the civil rights act shouldn't have never been made into law. He spread misinformation about covid.

I couldn't find a care in the world to give. I'm not sad. He's no loss. Also, I never said it's ok for him to be killed. I said I wouldn't mourn him.

And you know what? If you can't decide if he was right or wrong, you need a morality check. Tell me one redeeming thing he's said, or done. The fact is, if gun control wasn't so out of control, he would have gone home with his family.

Everything he stood for was damaging to me, personally.
