Facebook memories gave me a good laugh, I guess 4 years ago I had posted here how for Mother’s Day I don’t want my husband to buy gifts and slap the kids name on them, that I want the kids to feel included and have them pick what they feel I would like and it didn’t have to be store bought I would have loved handmade items or if they wanted to make a cake, then how someone here told me I was entitled, spoiled and that Mother’s Day is a day to be kid free and do nothing cause no one wants to clean a cake mess and that this is why men cheat 😂😂😂. I don’t remember who said that but just so you know that we have made it now a tradition for birthdays, mothers/Father’s Day and sometimes Valentine’s Day to go to 5 below and the kids pick the gifts they want to give and our spoiled entitled selves enjoy it.
P.S. my husband has still not cheated on me 💁🏻♀️.
I love asking the kids to take part in what they want to get and do. This year my son picked out his dad’s birthday gift and my daughter chose to get him flowers!. I agree with you it’s important to have them involved.
