My anxiety if through the roof, it’s been 3 yrs since I have been to a Gyn and finally went today. I have PCOS and I’m obese. After my last child I feel like my Urines comes out for no reason but also I have been going bit frequently. The doctor recommends this exam.
Also haven’t gotten my menstrual in 3 months so they did a sonogram and the wall of the utures it’s a bit thicker she thinks my period would be coming soon. She will give me a call in two weeks to see if it came if not she will give me a medication. However Mr Google first thing that came up was the word “Cancer” when I checked upon thickness of the wall”. After I get my period naturally or by medication I have to go back to get another sonogram.

Far as I know I've only been doing my annual once a year. They haven't told me I should get more check-ups because of my thickening of the uterus lining, but I'm going to ask next time I go cuz I've had a few people tell me that they have to get checked more than once a year

To put your mind at ease, after I had my children my periods got super heavy so they did a bunch of testing to make sure it wasn't cancer and they just found that I have thickening of the uterus lining for no reason whatsoever. And here I am 6 years later still with thickening of uterus and no cancer. They said it just happened sometimes

I just had a urodynamic test last month. It’s definitely embarrassing and uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t want to get it done ever again though lol.

Omg. I googled after leaving the doctors office. Do they really put something in ur behind? Omg. How long was the procedure?

yeah they do. It depends on what they are looking for and how long it takes you to go. Mine was about an hour I believe.
