Why don't parents play with kids?
I saw a tik tok where the mother said she doesn’t play with her children because she’s not a child & one of her reasons for having multiple kids is so they can play with each other.. anyone else do this? Not judging if you do, just didn’t know this was a thing & curious if it’s more common.

How?!!! There's always that 1 kid that someone doesn't want to play with! 😆 The saddest voice is hearing one of my kids asking me to play with them. Lol how the heck does she get away with no one on one time?! Idk if I'm impressed or sad!!! 😆

@dr.grey idk her, I'm just saying I'm impressed that she can get her kid(s) to leave her alone. LOL I would like to watch the video because I just find it impossible and I've never met anyone to pretty much not interact with their child. Does she play with babies but once they are a certain age, she doesn't play with them.....I have so many questions!

Oh noooo, that just makes me sad. For the kids & the mom. She’s missing so much bonding & the opportunity to make such special memories.
Some of my favorite days are spent ‘being a kid’ with my boys & just ignoring adulting for awhile. I couldn’t imagine just not making the time for them.

@dr.grey 🤣 I rather play barbies then when he used to make me play cars .... I was always playing cars wrong and he let me know I was never doing it right

I don’t always like playing with my kid and sometimes I do wish there was a second child for him to play with instead but I think it’s important that parents play with their kids.

I played with the boys. When they played with action figures they played together. I'd play cars with them. We still play board games together and we'll do online gaming together. Also we play football, basketball, and volleyball during the summer.

Well I’m judging lol. That’s a shitty thing to say/do. Of course I play with my kids. I feel like I’m not that creative sometimes but I try my best.

I think it's shitty that you think it's your second born's job to entertain your first born and vice versa. The whole concept just doesn't work for me.

I play with all my kids. It’s fun spending time with them and learning about them while they play.
When they become teenagers we talk and joke a lot.
