Why is my 2nd grader expected to learn algebra? He’s smart, but this is crazy. He’s learning how to do this, and borrow the 10s in subtraction……

It was on a math test! Only 2 kids were able to finish the problem and no one got it right

Yikes way too advanced for 2nd grade! My daughter is in 3rd and literally half the stuff she brings home I don’t understand. I’m just like “yeah looks great honey” 🤷🏻♀️😩
