I’ve been thinking about this app since I got pregnant this time around, but seemed to always forget to look it up.
Thanks to pregnancy insomnia! I found it.
Like the previous post, a lot has happened.
First things first, I got married to my wonderful husband (eloped in October 2022, ceremony in April this year). Met him back in 2016, months before I started dating my first daughter’s dad. We were long distance for a bit before he moved here this past July. He and I found out we were expecting middle of December. Couple of days after picking up my wedding dress, lol. We found out we were having a girl during our wedding in Mexico. He has been nothing but amazing towards me, my daughter, and our daughter who’s deciding to really waiiiiit to make her debut.
With my 1st daughters dad, it’s been such a rollercoaster ride. Daughter and I left the house, court orders in place, July 2020. He was always smoking his weed and drinking excessively. We were living in a 4 bedroom house, along with my niece, her bf and her daughter. I had moved into the spare bedroom that January because of how bad things were getting. He was hardly present and he was so vindictive. He didn’t respect me at all, and was often in denial of the abuse he was doing. While I was moving myself into the room, he decided to grab my clothes that were on the bed and throw them outside. He would also come home and go into my room and just death stare me down while daughter and I would be asleep. It was just all bad.
All things aside, this pregnancy has been so much different from my first. Husband, though he was not even in the same state, was/is so much more supportive. And my eldest daughter has expressed being so excited.
I’m nervous about labor. Only because I’m trialing labor in hopes to do a VBAC. Considering the atmosphere would be so different, I believe I’d have the support and care now than I did my first time. Ex wasn’t present mentally, didn’t want to stay there, always leaving to go eat elsewhere and play video games. Granted, this pregnancy hasn’t had me laboring yet, but my husband is showing up in all the ways my ex hasn’t and it just melts my heart.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Congratulations & welcome back!
