My thirteen year old come to me this morning says 'when i turn 16 i know what i want ' I want a small tattoo or nose piercing....' I told her she too young for that and she starts arguing so i walked away ! 😔😑

I definitely think it's by state, in PA all you need is consent from a parent for a minor to get a tattoo or a piercing.

Some states u can get a pricing and tattoo with parents signature at 16 teen
I remember a friend from my highschool got it done with fake parent permission
I think she can get a piercing with a parents signature but I don’t think she can get a tattoo.
Idk my rule is I ain’t signing for nothing. Wait until your ass is old enough and have your own money
Yes I agree I'm going to take my time to address that again because I just didn't know what to say until I read some reply on here
I told my kids that if they ever want a tattoo or piercing they have to be 18 and have their own job to be able to pay for it🤷🏻♀️
I’d be down for a nose stud but a tattoo, nope. I have tattoos to this day I’m still lasering off that I got at that age.
Good point I should tell her she won't feel the same at age 16 and older and should reconsider being older before getting something so permanent
Legally she has to be 18 for both. I don't think a parent can sign off on it younger. Maybe it varies by state but I think you have to be an adult.

@vergeenya, my lip didn’t, I got a smiley last year and that pinched but was like a 2/10. My belly hurt the worst and I constantly caught it on clothes, I hated it but kept it in. Then my body rejected it. The metal literally ate thru my skin.
