Going to pull out a tooth today !!!do they put you to sleep while pregnant ? Are they allowed to give you the needle to numb you ? I dont think i had ever went for this type of thing pregnant before

I’ve had several teeth pulled out including wisdom and have never been put to sleep
@mom2godzillaandwonkypets @jenx @whereswaldo I called prenatal care they said no problem just let them know. But I called the dentist and they said they need a clearance from prenatal care which my appointment is at July 7 meaning that tooth can get reinfected
Some dentist do need a letter of clearance for certain procedures. It’s to cover themselves in case something happens. They won’t put you to sleep though
@harleyquinn13 yup thank God I called before going in it's far from my house I would of been gave money and time for nothing. Even the babysitter call to tell me my kid need to be picked up
To answer one question unless impacted wisdom they do not put you to sleep to extract a tooth. They will numb you though. Just disclose you’re pregnant.
Just make sure they know you are pregnant and they will do everything safely. :) Good luck!
