Как выбрать кровати для близнецов?
Ok i need help and picking the right kinda bead frame for my twins. Near future I'm looking to get each their own twin mattress and bed frame. Not looking to get super cheap metal noisy bed frame, im looking for platform bed like I got for my son that's made of wood unless there's a metal one out there that's not noisy. Also don't want to spend too much money but also don't want something super cheap. If anyone has any suggestions on how I should go about this please let me know I'm at a loss cuz everything's super expensive nowadays. My 5 year old twins are still in their cribs with side down. They've been climbing the sides of their cribs and I'm afraid they're going to fall and kill themselves. They both just about still fit the mattress. But I looked it up online, by 5 that should be out of those toddler sized beds. So they are long over due for new beds. To be honest we're all running out of room in this tiny condo. I don't even know how I'm going to fit two twin beds in the other room where the twins sleep. I'm afraid I'm going to be sleeping in the same bedroom with them when they're teenagers, the rate this is going

IKEA has some great options. My boys have pottery barn beds and they’re sturdy as anything

Wayfair. Or get them mattresses on the floor for now. They are waaaaay too big for a toddler bed.

Also look into bunk beds for them if you’re trying to save space but they should’ve been outta toddler beds like 2 years ago lol

I agree. I keep telling my husband, but money has been tight. I lost my last job in November, then just started a new job over a month ago at last. So hopefully I can get them beds soon.

Wayfair has a credit card! You don’t even need to get them bed sets, just some cheap twin mattresses for now. Nothing fancy, just definitely out of a crib.

We did a box spring and mattress on the floor for a while with my oldest bc I’m picky and there aren’t many places to get furniture close by. It’s perfectly fine to do that for a while until you find something you like and that fits your budget.

Good idea. Just don't know if I wanna waste money on the box spring when you don't need them for platform beds which I hope to get. Im probably going to get the bed in a box like i did for my oldest son. I love that bed and no box spring needed

That makes sense. Box springs aren’t too expensive these days if you’re looking for something temporary. Twin sized ones are like $69 at Walmart

box springs are extremely cheap. Your children are acting a fool bc those beds are literally 2 years behind them. Shit, even some fun sleeping bags on the floor for now will do if you’re worried. It’s like the 3 basic needs for kids though when you put it in perspective. Food, clothes, an age appropriate bed. Box springs aren’t 100% necessary if you’re only using the mattress on the ground short term.

I'm trying to picture my big 5 year old in a crib lol... Get them a trundle bed to save space (if needed) or twin bunk beds that you can take apart. To save money....look on OfferUp. I found my daughter single bunk bed frame on there and just bought a new mattress. That's what I do for some things 🤷🏾♀️ ((or skip a frame and just put a mattress on the floor for a while))

This is the set up now. They still fit fine in the mattresses, my kids aren't super long. we're like average height they don't hit the end with their feet yet. I mean it literally turned into a toddler bed that's what it even said on the package. But I think it's time for a twin bed for each of them

We made our daughters bed with ikea bookcases. It was around $200 and has so much storage. It’s extremely sturdy if you’re wondering on that lmao.

I recommend, especially if your kids have a lot of toys like my kid does. It’s way cheaper than buying a bed with storage too.
