How old are you with your first child?
Who agrees ? Are you sure this is my child and do you love me = I don't trust you I don't want this child and you don't love me
How old were you when you had your first child?
If anyone is trying to get any tattoos done on them, I really recommend you not to especially if you are pregnant. You can seriously HARM the child!
if you've lost A child whether it be a miscarriage, stillborn or a death of a living child do you include that baby when asked how many children you have? What if it is an early miscarriagw, would you tell people for example you have 4, 3 living? What if its been years, do you still include that child that is in heaven?

They take recess away from my son when he gets sent to the RTI-B room which it the behavioral resource teams room, the principal and his team also let me know that because they take it away they give him time by himself to get the energy out. And don’t just make him sit in a class all day.
This is happening for us tomorrow, lunch detention with no recess.
Mimi·
Nope. As long as they aren't a threat to themselves or anyone else, recess should never be taken as a consequence. Children especially special needs need that break.
JenX·
Not a fan because it will probably exacerbate the issue that caused them needing a consequence in the first place. Kids need to move, relieve stress, and have a break.

Who didn’t allow him to go to recess? Teacher or admin? I don’t allow my teachers to withhold recess as a punishment. Is this the only recess or are there multiple recesses. I don’t withhold grade level/lunchtime recess from neurotypical kids UNLESS the behavioral incident was an unsafe incident AT recess. I’ve never withheld recess from students from our self-contained room, ever.

@eatmyassfromtheback-kthanks, I will say that districts do things differently so maybe she is required to record the conversation and ask certain questions. This is not how we’d do things where I am and I don’t feel that it’s best practice.

@eatmyassfromtheback-kthanks most definitely. I personally would have had my team and admin/mental health worker present if I felt that strongly.

she got in trouble for recording him. The principal said she has told her in the past that it wasn’t allowed. This again is minor compared to other issues I’ve had and I’ve had to speak to admin along with her. I by no means want to be an issue for this teacher. I want us to work together so my son can get the help he needs and learn. I’ve made it very clear to her she has my support and I would love the same in return. We are a team.

I work in Special Education and no, not okay. There needs to be an immediate consequence within reason. I also have a son with an IEP and I would lose it. 🤷♀️
