Has anyone here takin a child with ADHD and or ODD to get dental work done and having the child be put to sleep? He's getting some cavities filled and he's on quillivant for his ADHD and ODD and it messes with his heart if he takes a certain medications and I'm really worried about him going under with this medication. Supposed to go Monday. There's no way they could do it with him awake with the way he is

They’ve never put my oldest to sleep just gave her laughing gas to fill her cavities and have a tooth pulled. But if they have to put him to sleep I’m sure they’ve considered the effects his meds have and he’ll be fine.

Mines been put to sleep twice for dental work and for tonsil and adenoid removal but he wasn't on medication at the time.
