So I started watching Dahmer on Netflix and I’ve only watched 2 episodes.
Did no one really know the story about what he did or does it get more gross the more I watch? All I’ve been hearing is how raunchy it is and I have yet to see that. There is no doubt about what he did was awful and very disgusting but I knew that going into it.
@love_linds, @dontspankme, that’s what I’m thinking is getting to people but I’m not there yet
It’s literally the last scene in the series. It definitely snapped you back to reality like wait, this was real. This isn’t just a show.
I already knew what he did so the gory parts didn’t really phase me even though it was horrifying. What makes this series very sad for me is knowing the victims stories.
I knew what I was going into so it didn’t surprise me. But I did cry at the end bc they had a moment to show all his victims & that’s was overwhelming after watching a, somewhat, recounting of his actions.
Yeah, that part almost got to me too. Just seeing the actual victims’ pictures, it was a wake up to reality that this wasnt just a show, it actually happened.
I personally didnt find it that bad, but I also knew what he did and have an extremely hight tolerance for gore, sooo I’m probably not the best judge there. 😂 I’m that crazy person that cheers on the gore and the killers in horror movies. 😂
@supermomof4, Saaaame. I’ve been watching horror movies most of my life. It probably didnt help that my brother would let me watch them with him when I was like 6 or 7. 😂
@llamapantaloons, my mom did it to me lol. Shed let me watch them with her. I was like 8 when scream came out and she rented it and I had my friends over and we made it a party lol I’m bad 🤦🏻♀️🤣
It gets worse and worse although I knew what he did. I just finished it. Gross and heartbreaking actually watching the details and his victims
People are sharing the actual photos he took of the bodies on Facebook! With that now sitting on my mind & this series.. I was only able to get to episode 3 & decided to not watch it anymore. That man was beyond evil.
Are you serious? That is beyond disrespectful I can’t believe that!
It does get worse as you get into it, but I think it depends on the person and there tolerance to certain things. I do agree with @whereswaldo there is ALOT I didn’t realize and a lot that really made me cringe
@caffeinequeen., I am seeing it’s a bit more from the victims prospective which I don’t think they’ve ever portrayed before and it does put another level to that.
@supermomof4, yess and the detail of what he did is just horrific
I knew what he did and still am disgusting by this Netflix series 🤷🏻♀️. None of it should shock me but I guess seeing it vs reading or hearing about it just made me realize more.
I know I’m also at the beginning but I’ve seen documentaries about him in the past.
@momx4, I think it’s worth watching! It’s really good! I personally prefer things like this over documentaries. It makes it more of a story instead of just facts.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I was watching a documentary about Jeffrey dahmer and tbh I’m SUPER DISTURBED more DISTURBED then i was watching ted bundy .... which says ALOTTTTT
What are some good shows on Netflix!? I’ve watched so man my but I’m sure there’s still more I haven’t seen lol
graduate
What year did you graduate high school?
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
My heart was conflicted with the dad. It’s heart breaking that show was a roller coaster ride of emotions. I still can’t believe I was able to eat while watching certain scenes.
