When will I stop helping my daughter with her hair?

Around 9 or 10 I believe

I was 8yrs old, I believe I had really long hair though, she use to wash it at the sink because I hated the soap in my eyes 🤣.

I’ll help her as long as she needs but I think she’ll be able to handle it by age 8-10

A few years ago, but I think it depends on the child also. When you can trust them to use a reasonable amount, rinse well, and not get it in their eyes.

My mother was a control freak and dictator in our home. She was doing my hair up until HS. I hated that. I was in 8th grade sometimes going to school wearing freaking pigtails! I was embarrassed. 🤦‍♀️ washing it as well.

Dd washes, brushes and styles her hair since she turned 10.

my daughter is 7 and i still do hers

she has the thickest hair and it needs deep conditioning treatments once a month.

plus with it being so thick, i just knowwww she wouldn’t rinse it well

I don't remember adults washing my hair 😆.. but my 10 year old still needs my help.

My daughter is very independent , she has been showering herself since 3.5 or so.

I do help her still tho because there has been times when she says she's done and has shampoo all over lol but she's getting better and better
