What's happening to my hair?
Still loosing hair almost two months in. Got blood work redone plus shes checking for other stuff I've never been tested for before. So far limes is negative and no thyroid issues. Im Freaking out. I cant do anything with my hair, its so thin and lifeless now. Im also very embarrassed, I can fell the cold air on my neck and head mire now. I had such nice hair. It was about the only nice thing i had 😭🙁. The picture with black background is from tonight and other is from after washing my hair this morning. Waaaay to much loss. Nor normal for me at all

Did you ever switch up your hair routine to see if that’s maybe why?

Yup sure did. But like I've said in my entire life I've never lost this much hair, everyday, only during postpartum. I've used dozens of different shampoos in my life and never had a shampoo do this to my hair. I went back to using tea tree oil shampoo that I used to use before and its still happening.

I hope they find out the issue! That’s crazy.

Stress can cause this too ,, or coloring and straightening your hair with very strong products. Do you do that to your hair ?

I get highlights in my hair maybe once a year or every 2 years. Been over a year since I've got it done and I don't use any product in my hair and I don't straighten or curl my hair I'm very natural. I've had stress my entire life pretty much and nothing more than usual

Awe I’m sorry girl. That sucks. Hugs 💕

Have you had Covid in the past few months? My sisters hair started falling out after she had it. I’m talking 1/3 gone in a few months. She’s been rocking the wig life lately. Another friend lost hers too after Covid started with all her bleached hair breaking off then started falling out.

Same. I didn’t know these were correlated. I had covid twice and my hair falls out waaaaaaay more than usual.

Nope never had it. I've had my antibodies tested like three times this year and nothing

I hate you are going through this and I hope they can quickly figure out what’s going on

Could it be alopecia? I don’t even know how they test for that

they are checking for Lupus and hashimoto's disease but again I highly doubt I have the stuff I don't see how I'm 43 and I dont think that stuff can just pop up out of nowhere. I'm also adopted but no one on my mother's side has any of that stuff and no kind of hair loss. Don't know my fathers side.

It's good they are checking for all that. My doctor checked for all that after I was sick from the covid shot. I was told a vaccine and covid can trigger things like that, that you never knew you had before. I really hope you can get some answers.

never had covid or the shot

I have this problem too! Massive hair loss and no medical reason for it. I switched to a castor oil based shampoo and conditioner and it’s been the best thing that helps. TGIN is the brand. Also keeping my hair shoulder length or shorter helps too.
Have you moved and this started happening or any changes to your water? I’ve really hard water where I live and it’s not helping matters for me.

Nope, lived in the same place for almost 7 years and no change in water. Pretty sure we have hard water, always have

I’ve gone through phases of this my entire life. Lost half my thickness my senior year in high school. Hair hasn’t stopped falling out since I had my youngest. Hair loss runs on my dad’s side, so I think I’m just screwed.

damn dude, im sorry to hear that. This is the first time in my 43 years of life I'm losing hair for no reason other than when I lost a bunch postpartum after my kids. Should i get ready to buy a wig? Im afraid by the summer im going to have nothing left and be bald. Im already self conscious about my looks because of acne and now this, im devastated. I will also not look good wirh short hair at all. I could never cut it
