Guys my little girl is 8 month old. She will be 9 months old in 12 days. She still doesn't sit up independently. If I position her sitting, she might sit up for 2 seconds then fall back. When she wants a toy, she shuffles and crawls. Should I be concerned? My son was able to sit up by 8 months old very confidently.
Thank you xx
i wouldnt worry hunni as the other ladies have said all babies are diffrent iv only ever had girls but my 2 iv got at the momemt was compleatlt diffrent with all that so thay done it at diffrent stages hunni xxxx
No way, girls are normally way slower to develop physcially this is absolutely normal xx
@tammyxx haha i mean mentally girls are quicker with talking etc but theyre slower with things like crawling and walking. Thats what ive heard and its been the case for my two. Tommy was walking at 10 months emies only just started crawling! Xx
@kelsey234 aww bless there all different and at their own pace but I've always known girls to do everything before boys even crawl and walk these only ever been 1 little boy I've known who's walked at 9m all the rest have been girls at 10m🙈 xx
@kelsey234 Maya was crawling at 5 months, pulling herself to stand at 6 months and walking around furniture
Walking independently 10.5 months
However both my niece and nephew did things around the same time
Both weren't walking until 15 months, my nephew was also 8 weeks prem x
I felt like this with my second because her brother did things so early. She didn't sit well unaided until around 10 months (it could have been slightly later) while her brother was walking around at 9 months. They all develop at different rates :)
