Anyone here in their 40s?? All of a sudden the past month or less I've been losing tons of hair and have no clue why, I don't have any vitamin deficiencies, I'm on everything I need to be on. Every time I go wash my hair every other day and brush it out there's like a chunk of hair that comes out like it used to when I had postpartum with my kids. I'm freaking out now I'm thinking I'm just going to have to go to the doctor and figure out what's going on, but it's starting to scare me it's like getting super thin. Not losing hair anywhere else though which is weird it's just the top of my head. I did switch shampoo a month ago cuz they stopped selling the one I was buying and I can't find anything really good anymore but I doubt that's what would make that happen. Also it's all natural shampoo, no chemicals. That big chunk of hair in the picture is from washing my hair every 2 days plus I have hair falling out everywhere all over my house, it's getting tangled in my feet and everything.
@ladyfreyja I asked because alot of people that got covid are now losing their hair 😔
I’m 36 and ever since I had Covid back in January my hair is doing the same thing. Doesn’t matter what I do.
Change your products. Also if it’s been a while since you’ve had any testing done you should look into that again as well.
@momgroupreject I get it from whole foods. Where else would I buy shampoo at other than a store like that or a pharmacy? And that's natural. Whole foods has all natural shampoo same you would find in like a natural shop
@ladyfreyja, so I have started buying professional products from ulta and it’s made a lot of difference with my hair. But if you google shea moisture hair loss you will find a lot of threads from people experiencing the same type of hair loss that you are. Apparently they changed their formula within the last year or so. I’ve learned that using shampoos packed with oils was weighing my hair down and causing a lot of breakage so I use a shampoo with low oils and no sulfates and then add in small amounts oils afterwards that won’t weigh my hair down. Something all natural doesn’t mean it’s the right product for your hair type. It’s a lot of trail and error to find what works for you. Good luck!
I would definitely check to see either A possibly going into menopause or B you might want to get your thyroid check. also have you had covid in the past?
Never had covid. Definitely not menopause I'm not even premenopause yet. And I get my thyroid check every 6 months there's nothing wrong with it
I'm in my 40s but have never had hair loss. I would definitely get some blood work and check your hormones out. Do you know what age your mom went into menopause?
50's. I got my period late when I was like 14. Just had blood work done for everything 2 months ago everything was fine even my hormones
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Quick question. Did you ever get covid?
