@miasmommy05, the first shot I didn’t notice anything but I had my 2nd shot in January and now I’ve been spotting for forever and am always cramping. Looking to change
I did for like 3 years do not recommend it at all. I gained over 100 lbs on that. Yes it’s effective but it’s different for everyone.

Dont do it. I took one shot and cause infertility for 4 years (we had to have help) then I was diagnosed with pcos. I wish I never gotten it. Totally ruined me ever since.

Nope. But I was on the pill for 11ish years and never had an issue with it.
@miasmommy05, No problem! I’ve heard a lot of people say the IUD is good. I’ve never had one, though. But as long as you can remember to take a pill everyday, those can be pretty good too for a lot of people.
I hated it. Had it many years ago. I gained 40lbs that thankfully I dropped after stoping the shot.

Yeah I had it from 17-21 and then a bone density test proved it was thinning my bones so I was forced to stop

I like the mini pills best but I think I’ll be getting the IUD when I have the baby.

@j.luciano, Ever since I got it like the first two months I did get my period but I was like really late and then after that I haven’t got my period at all watch that’s kind of the reason why I’m on it because when I get my period I hemorrhage really bad so I’m trying to see if this works 😢 I don’t know I don’t I haven’t noticed any change on my mood at all and the weekend I could see if gained a little bit of weight but I don’t know. 😢
Did you get any symptoms? I got it once & i experienced bad cramps & nervousness. Debating wether I should get it again or pick a different one!🤔
When I was deploying for the first time with an all male unit overseas I chose to get the shot to stop my monthly bc I didn't know what the conditions would be and how frequently we could bathe, attain hygiene items, etc. Plus the idea of menstruation during missions, well, enough said, right? It messed my body up so badly and caused weight gain out of this world. Not just a little bit, but a huge change overcame my body and I gained in an unhealthy, ugly, hurt my body kind of way. I've used it twice in my life and wish I could get it taken off the market. Have never met anyone who had a good experience with it. The side effects can manifest in emotional, mental health diagnosis and worse! Please be careful!!!
