I believe it because I was lucky to avoid the first few and then I ended up catching this one 2 weeks ago. Almost everyone around me has it now and I haven’t had contact with them, they are getting it everywhere and easily like my brother, my uncles and some of my cousins. I definitely see how omicron is very contagious. A close family friend also had it around the same time. It seems like almost everyone started getting it around the holidays lol. I really didn’t want to get it but it found it’s way to me. 😂😡
If makes me wonder how many more mutations/variants we will get and all catch. Can y’all imagine if getting it once can cause long term health issues for some what will happen to us/our kids if we catch it every few years? It’s clearly not leaving and it’s going to keep producing variants like the flu does.
Unfortunately I agree. I don’t think it’s avoidable anymore. I am anticipating it at this point. Can only hope for some sort of herd immunity and no crazy mutations
I pray there's no new mutation arising from this that totally bypasses the vaccine. We would be so effed. I was reading a study of 2.5 million kids who contracted covid and how they have a 2.5 higher chance of developing diabetes 1-6 months after infection and I had to just close it I got so angry.
i never want to experience covid again. mine was mild but I don’t want that shit. not my kids to have it again. I’m over here ducking and dodging folks, i would rather leave my kids in the damn traffic before i take them into the store because these folks is sick and nasty. This old lady was sneezing over the eggs at the grocery store. Ma’am!! you dirty bitch.

My kids pedi actually told me the same. He said “it’s not a matter of who gets it, it’s a matter of when we all get it” I’m so over all this shit 🙄
