I hope everyone is doing well and had a happy New Years!🎉

I haven’t been on here for a while, I was so busy with school and stressed out as well at home but things have been ok for now. So I recently had the damn coronavirus which I was hoping to avoid. I don’t know which one it was but I think it may have been the omicron because I didn’t have the difficulty breathing. I was sick during the holidays for about 5 days. There were two things that made me know that it wasn’t a regular flu. One thing was the fact that my runny nose was clear. I thought that was strange because when I usually get sick it would be all yucky, green and thick the texture but it was clear and thin. Another fact was that my family and I had some different symptoms from one another. When we would get sick (before the pandemic), we would usually get the same symptoms but these two signs made me decide to get the rapid testing a week ago. So my bf was the one that passed the virus. He was very much against vaccinating and is all for the right when I am the opposite of him where I am not really into politics. I just briefly speak about politics but don’t choose a side. I’ve had headaches about topics relating to the pandemic with him and what his beliefs about it are which can be very annoying. So he finally decided to get 1 dose of a vaccine two weeks ago only to ended up hanging out with a friend the next day. I’m 100% sure that’s how he got it because his friend is also against being vaccinated. Thank god we have been ok this time but I’m hoping that we don’t get it again or if we do, that it will be mild. Thank god my 2 and a half year old daughter is ok. She had a fever for 2 days and a runny nose. I had a fever for a few hours on the first day with pounding headaches lasting for 5 days. I also had chills the first day with pain on my butt, lower back and hips. I had a sore throat that lasted for 5 days. My son had a fever for 1 day. My mom had a fever for two days and nausea that is still present even after being sick. She lost her taste and smell and doesn’t have much of an appetite now still a week and a half later. My bf didn’t have a fever but he had pain in his bones and a headache for 4 days. He was the one that got sick first. When I got the test results and showed him then he finally believed that we had the virus. 🤦🏻‍♀️ He was in denial and some of his male friends really amp shit up when it comes to the pandemic. Saying stuff like children don’t get covid and things worse than that.

On a funny note when I told one of my relatives that we were sick with covid, she was like oh no I don’t want to get covid while letting me know she has the stomach virus and her children. I was like hey don’t worry I’m keeping covid over here not planning to pass it around but don’t you come over here and bring that god damn stomach virus because I don’t want to be puking and shitting a million times a day and getting up in the middle of the night to run to the toilet. 😂 That is just a miserable feeling.
