I'd say no. I gave my first a bottle before bed from 5 months, he still woke every 40 minutes until he was 18 months.
My second never had a bottle and she slept in 3 hour stints from birth until 4 months, She then went to waking once a night. She has just started sleeping through at 19m.

It just depends on the baby I think :) xx

@gemini95 to be honest I started as a mix straight away from hospital woth both pregnancys, I use cow and gate. I use to give brest during the day and gave bottle at night time you can do the same now and then move them to formal completely that's what I did, my daughter in full formula feed now. X

@aleksandravolkova1693, how often does she wake up ? My daughter wakes up every hour or just wants boob for comfort. So I think going to formula might be better

@gemini95 my daughter goes bed at 10pm ot 9:30pm everyday thats a bed time and she has 180ml 6 coops, and wakes up at 7am then we wake up at 8am for school run, and after that I giving her milk at 10am and that'd her going for a nap till 12pm and then a give her milk every 3 to 4 hours depending how she feeling and when she feel hungry. She also naps through the day for half an hour or hour. I think its easier thats why i staretd as a mix feeding from the start sho she can have my milk as its good for them and formula so she can have a good sleep and being full. X
