so i'm not really a people person.... like really i have 0 friends 😂 anyways met a mom who has a son in Jerri's class we talked for a little bit but she had to go back to her spot once we started making gingerbread houses but we talked about the kids having a play date and we both are always at home and just lives a house over from us.... anywho would it be weird to shoot her a message on the class app thing? like i said im not a people person im not good at starting conversations and all that but don't wanna come off as weird messaging her or even what to say to her really 🤦🏻♀️

Not weird at all and if you're neighbors, even less so! I would just make a Christmas card and drop it off with a store purchased goodie of your choice. Include your number and leave the ball in her court.

@beautiful_disaster And of all else fails, let your little play in the front yard and when she and her little get home or come outside the kids will naturally gravitate towards one another. You could invite her over for a hot chocolate, coffee, tea, whatever.... While the kids play.

where our house is and there's you can't see in each other's yard since we are more off the road with a neighbor between us with a bunch of sheds and buildings

Send a Christmas Card with your kid to her kiddo and put your information in it. Or send an invitation from your kid to hers for them to visits, go for a walk, or the local park???????

I’m freaking HORRIBLE at being social. Even hubs yells at me and he’s not a people person lmao.
But nooo it wouldn’t be weird at all especially having that convo with her beforehand. Like the other mom said do a Christmas card, shit your daughter could make it and put some baked goodies or dollar store toys in a bag??? Neighbor play dates are the BEST.

my three neighbors are so nice. I’ve talked to them at least 20 times. But everytime I see them outside what do I do?! Scurry back inside or act like I didn’t see them till they yell at me 😅
