My poor girl has an ear infection and a sinus infection. We’re starting her first ever antibiotics tomorrow and her eye drops. She is absolutely MISERABLE and she’s usually the happiest and most playful girl. Hopefully within a few days she’ll be back to her normal self! 🥺

Update on Scarlett Her post mortum came back inconclusive, so we are still unsure what caused her to pass. Tests have shown her body had no infection, so all this 'viral infection' and tonsillitis diagnosis from the doctors where incorrect.

I hope you don’t take offense but get another opinion on the ears! My kids have been misdiagnosed multiple times and I get a second opinion to find out the ears are fine. Sinus issues can cause inflammation in the ears. Most often ear infections don’t require antibiotics. They’re just so harsh on little ones.

Oh definitely no offense taken! I’m going to make her a follow up with her pediatrician in 3-5 days to make sure everything is clearing out. The children s urgent care was just my only option last night to get an idea of what was going on!

@xryztalroze, the mucus coming out of her nose is so thick and green right now. I’m hoping the augmentin will help clear that out pretty quickly. I’m doing steamy baths, chest rub, saline, suction, and it’s still sooooo thick and soooo much of it 🥺 and her little eyes are matting together from the gunk and no matter how many times I wipe them it’s just not helping. 😭
