Can birth control change your period because omg I’m on day 8
When I was on the pill, my cycles were always light/regular and always on time, lasting about 5-6 days. I don't think it's the BC, personally, especially if you've been on your current BC for a while. If anything it should make you more regular.

Should be short term and hopefully your next cycle is regular ❤️ Good luck mama!

What birth control are you on.? I was taking the shot and the the doctor told me it’s normal to have bleeding for up to 9 months
Mine became very normal. Lighter periods and it was always on time the same time every month and no more cramps, it was great for me. I think it affects everyone differently. It works for some but not others. I was on birth control pills on and off for 20 years
@ai.ariel the covid vax has caused heavier and longer periods in lots of women.
Ughhhhh yesssss, im one the liletta iud and usually lasts for 3-4 days now its 8-10 days. But ill stop for a day or 2 then BAM, Hello again!!! Ughhhhh it sucks. Yes….. it is a hormone. Did your doctor not explain this?
@ai.ariel, how long have you been on it? Not sure what kind you have but if you’re on the pill and miss doses it can cause this.
