I am fed up!! My neighbor across the street fosters dogs all the time but she just leaves them all out in the backyard all day while she’s at work. They are constantly getting out. 2 years ago, she had a St. Bernard that was so mean! It chased and growled at the kids in the block, and at me and my kids. I took video of it and called animal control. It chased animal control back into his truck and he couldn’t do anything. It ended up biting my husbands leg and I took her to court and the DA told her it was not allowed in city limits. Well this dog is back and been getting out again. Today he tried to climb into my backyard and so I called animal control again. They told me how much she helps them with dogs and they didn’t really want to come. I reminded them that if it was anyone else’s dogs they’d come pick them up and give the owner a ticket and she shouldn’t be above anyone else. Also the city limit is 4 dogs and she has 7. How is that even right?! So they must have agreed with me because they came and picked up her dogs. I now have a meeting Monday with the DA again for her violating the court order and bringing the dog back into the city limits. I’m all for helping animals but if you can’t do it properly then you shouldn’t do it at all.
