It was tougher for a couple of reasons:
1. First baby, didn't know what to expect.
2. They broke my water and contractions started immediately.
3. Was in labor longer and the contractions were INTENSE!
4. 13 hrs and 45 minutes of pushing
5. Strapped to monitors and IV
6. Needed oxygen near the end due to fatigue
COMPARED TO: #2
1. 2.5 hours of moderate contractions and water broke on it's own 15 minutes before baby was born.
2. NO IV, not strapped down to monitors
3. Had energy all the way through.
Baby #3:
Water broke, contractions started an hour later, went for a mile long walk, came home, showered, baby born at home assisted by midwife and 7.5 hours of total labor.
All 3 without epidural or any kind of pain management... Home birth was the best experience, but the contractions were INTENSE compared to baby #2, induction contractions were def by far the most tiresome and intense. Best wishes!
