Guys what's sorts of things would you put in your child's lunch boxes ? Especially if he is fussy?
I just put in stuff I know they will eat, it may not be the healthiest but I'd rather them eat than go hungry all day at school.
Same here! I would rather Lexi eat all her dinner than only half and be hungry. She doesn't eat cucumber or tomatoes etc so I have to put oat/cereal/fruit bars. She will eat a wrap or butty, cheesestring, sausage roll/ cocktail sausage, yogurt, crisps and fruit. That's as good as it gets 😂 xx
I try and do a variety of things so they don't get sick of the same thing all the time but Cut up chunks of cheese, yogurts, sandwich, Pizza pinwheels, oat bar things, fruit, raisins, crackers, hot cross bun, malt loaf, cheese straws, cheese strings, pasta,
Sausage rolls, carrot / cucumber sticks, rice cakes xx
This is what Theo has:
Sandwich/wrap (filling changes daily),
Crackers/Kabanos + cheese,
Peppers/cucumber/tomatos, (sometimes a selection of all three)
A pot of fruit,
Soreen bar/oat bar,
Frube.
I always put in things I know he will eat and I give him options. So some days he will eat the crackers and meat, others he will eat the sandwich. Whatever he doesn't eat in school he usually eats at the park after school :)
