i didn't know was that until she finally said at 1:30 this morning "her poop was stuck" we thought was a UTI from how she was describing it but definitely will be having some laxative on deck just incase we have it happen again 😬 was a long night

@beautiful_disaster I would highly recommend getting PediaLax chewables (they're watermelon flavored) and having her take some for a few days. My kiddo had a major bout kf constipation around Jerri's age and I learned a lot from it. When they get super backed up their colon gets huge and it takes a few days to shrink back down to normal size. In that time period, they can get poop lodged in the engorged part and it just keeps a vicious cycle up.

I don't recommend MiraLax because it has never been studied in children. I gave my daughter that because it was all Dollar General had at the time and she had behavioral side effects from it, which isn't uncommon in kids. She's usually really calm and peaceful but she was screaming in my face and slapped me. As soon as the MiraLax cleared out of her system she was fine.

That's just my two cents. Learned over a cycle of constipation that lasted 6 months.
