Please help! The last 2days I have noticed a bad foot/ shoe smell. I can't work out whose is the cause or if it's all of them! We only have a small/ narrow hallway with no extra space for shoes. I'm planning on washing all our trainers & have bought some shoe spray. Anything else we can do/ use to help stop smelly shoes!?!? I am currently looking for a new shoe rack maybe one with doors to keep in the smell! 🙈

Gosh yeh £100 is a lot to throw away, literally! & similarily my husband had a new pair of work shoes a while back which were so bad he had to stop wearing them! So I thought it's probably him again 🤣
Newspaper in your shoes. It’ll absorb any stink and then just throw it out and replace. Poor you with 3 smelly boys 🤣
Haha yeh & I imagine it only gets worse as they get older! I've never had issues with smelly feet but hubby has so we're thinking it's his.
All being washed atm. Cleaned the whole area / chucked out some bits & going to febreeze everything! Will try the newspaper hack next time. Will have to buy a newspaper as we don't usually get them 🤣
Have u got a small cupboard under the stairs? That’s where ours go in a bucket lol x
Not really our under stairs is full with suitcases & Christmas stuff as we don't have a loft.
I'm going to pack up some of the shoes that we're not using atm like the wellies. I think it's probably the trainers that smell.
My husband has had smelly feet/ shoes before back when he was at the office everyday but he works from home now so not sure why it's started lol
@sara-lou86, awh what about one of those big plastic toy boxes with a lid? Stick some tumble dryer sheets in there with them 😂 x

Baking soda in shoes over night and hoover out the next day, have you got any essential oil you can rub onto the radiator or mix into a water solution spray bottle and mist the carpet there to eliminate any shoe smell? Xx

@ezchaz The smell has gone yay. By the time the wash had finished yesterday. Was definately the trainers. Probably the hubby's. I'm blaming him anyway 🤣

Haha im sooo glad you've posted this! Having the same problem. My oh has trainers an hes worn them a handful of times and said hell never put them on again these nothing wrong with them and there practically brand new but the smell that comes off them is unbelievable and I can't bring myself to throw them out cos they was over £100! and I've never smelt any of his shoes like that before honestly I could suffocate of the stench!! Hope you no longer smell it and can breathe 😂 xx
